Today's main course (主菜) is Meola Reef Reserve and the dessert (餐後甜點) is Western Springs The hors d'oeuvre (主菜前的小菜) is from Old Mill road, Jaggers bush track and then along the shore bed to the Coxs Bay and Coxs Bay reserves. Experiencing walkway, bush walk, shore bed (at low tide) and width boardwalk.





Meola Reef Reserve
A large area covering 15 hectares, a nature reserve of geological interest. It is the longest lava flow in the Auckland volcanic field. Contains natural mangroves and salt marsh on the landward end and unique reef habitat in the Waitemata Harbour.

Western Springs
Western Springs is a wildlife sanctuary surrounding a natural spring-fed lake, one of Auckland's early water supplies. The park is surrounded by a cluster of major nearby attractions including the Auckland Zoo, Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT), and the Western Springs stadium.
