Whakapapa Ridge, Saddle Cone & Wairere Stream (walking part of trip)

The original trip will be : The route goes up the Whakapapa Ridge, crosses the Pinnacles Ridge, descends to cross the Wairere Stream then crosses another ridge to get to Saddle Cone. The return walk gets back in to the Wairere Stream, out to meet the Tama Lakes track and back to the Chateau. Walking part of the trip because of heavy rain and fog. 

Walking from Ridge Track and Taranaki Falls Track and return from the same route.
